Prince of the snow

The Matterhorn - one of the highest summits in Europe

Our stylish hotel has a prime location in Cervinia at the “Alpe Giomein”, which overlooks the entire resort and includes a magnificent view of the Matterhorn AKA Cervino and Mont Cervin.

The
location

Breuil-Cervinia is an alpine resort in Valle d'Aosta (Aosta Valley), Italy. The resort is named after Monte Cervino, the Italian name for the Matterhorn Mountain, which Cervinia shares with Zermatt, Switzerland.

The Aosta Valley, beginning at 1,524 meters in Valtournenche, is an infinite snowy area that embraces Breuil-Cervinia. It rises up to 3,480 meters at Plateau Rosà, touches the 4,000 meters peak of Piccolo Cervino and climbs up to 4,478 meters to the top of the Cervino Mountain (the Matterhorn).

Cervinia is one of Italy's most important resorts and has carved a niche as an up-market enclave, perhaps in part because of its cross-border link to Zermatt, Switzerland.

Winter
Activites

Cervinia has a long winter season with an excellent snow record. It is also open for summer glacier skiing and snowboarding at the end of June until September.

The ski area of Breuil-Cervinia, including Valtournenche and Zermatt, is one of the largest in the Alps with 350 km of ski runs. This offers our guests a chance to ski all day without ever repeating the same run twice, alternating easier runs with those of increasing difficulty.

The main street in Cervinia is lined with ski and snowboard shops stocking the latest equipment, rental gear, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, fashion and general shopping boutiques, gift and souvenir shops and photography galleries.
